A picture is worth a thousand words…

This picture was taken in October 2008, in Newport Beach CA. It was a few days before Gretchen Rossi’s Birthday party. Gretchen was trying out costumes for Halloween to see people’s reactions to them. The day this picture was taken was the first time Gretchen had met Jim and Alexis Bellino. In this picture you can clearly see (as Alexis did) the ring finger tattoo “Gretchen”on Jay Photoglou’s finger. Alexis asked Gretchen why she was still wearing her engagement ring and about her ring finger tattoo “Jay” as well. Gretchen and Alexis sat for nearly 45 minutes while Gretchen explained her role on the show and answered Alexis’ questions. Gretchen told Alexis she was Jeff Beitzel’s caregiver.

TMZ just broke an exclusive story,
‘Real Housewife’ Gets Millions From Dead Fiance’

In this video obtained by TMZ, Gretchen Rossi goes on the record saying, “It’s not like he left me millions and millions of dollars, no.” In that episode, she went on to say he left her ‘enough to take care of herself for about a year.’

However…TMZ has obtained Jeff Beitzel’s trust which had been amended just a month prior, stating that Gretchen was awarded 2.5 million dollars.

Watching the clip, she appears less than appreciative, which leaves me wondering just how much a fiance caregiver rakes in a year! In my opinion a grieving fiance would have shown some class by avoiding the number game completely and simply leaving it at, ‘He was very good to me and made sure I was taken care of.’ Clearly, that was not the case here. Maybe she’ll get luckier next time (Slade?) O.K. next, next time.

It looks like Gretchen ended up taking the other wives advice to heart to protect herself. It’s reported $750.000 of that $2,500,000 was collected from Jeff Beitzel’s life insurance policy.

….million, millions….lie, lies…you say potato, I say patahto

June 15th, 2009 Gretchen writes in her blog,
“First of all let me state this very clearly, Tamra changes her story according to how it best suites her in that moment. I have honestly never met anyone so contradictory in my life (or someone that just plan [sic] lies to your face)”

In another blog she writes,
“No one will ever be able to truly understand or I will never be able to explain in right detail the last six months of my life. The pain, the tears, the hopelessness, the regret, the sorrow, the sleepless nights, the dreams, being angry at God, or the sad void in my soul.”
Let’s talk about contradiction… 

The following pictures were taken in the five months following Jeff’s death. I will never dispute the fact that Gretchen loved and cared about Jeff, these pictures however seem to contradict much of what she has written in her blog.

The dates on these pictures have been verified through their properties.

• January 8th 2008- Jay Photoglou and Gretchen Rossi began dating
• May 2008- The Real Housewives of Orange County begin filming Season 4
• September 2008- Filming of Season 4 ends
• September 13th 2008- Jeff Beitzel passed away
• October 8th 2008- Jay and Gretchen had each others names tattooed on each others ring fingers (less than 1 month later)
• November 25th 2008- Episode 1 of Season 4 airs (shown in 4th picture, Jay first met Jo and Slade in March of 2008, when her and Slade took the idea of Gretchen joining the show to Evolution, the producers of O.C. Housewives. They were aware of Jay and Gretchen’s relationship)
• December 2008- Jay was seen moving into Gretchen’s house
• January 31st 2009- The Real Housewives of Orange County Reunion Show was filmed (the last picture above was taken 1 week later)
• February 9th 2009- Gretchen and Jay’s relationship ended
• February 18th 2009- As Jay tries to recover personal items from Gretchen’s Costa Mesa home accompanied by Police, Slade Smiley’s wallet, jacket, shoes, shirt and keys are seen (although footsteps upstairs were heard at the time, a dispatcher received a call from Slade saying he was with Gretchen and they were in Las Vegas.)
• February 24th 2009- The Reunion Show airs

Again, we find more contradiction in the relationship when we read  Gretchen’s timeline that was submitted as a document, verses the To do list that she apparently e-mailed to Jay in October 2008.

Reading bottom to top, this e-mail exchange is between Gretchen Rossi, Jay Photoglou and a private publicist that they had obtained for Gretchen. It’s dated November 15th 2008, which was 10 days prior to the airing of Season 4. Although I can’t confirm it was actually sent, Gretchen seems to have concerns for the way her character is being portrayed in Bravo’s releases, she also makes reference to what “…was going to take place in the telling of their story.”

Story? Story!

Remember the saying, “Don’t let the truth get in the way of a good story?” Some people will go through great lengths to do just that. People become inanimate objects falling prey to what boils down to be, the almighty dollar.
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, while the reunion show marked the end of Season 4, the real drama is far from over.
Our little hearts broke when we learned the sassy blond with the infectious smile may have pulled a fast one on us. Who is Jay Photoglou? As pictures and information begin to emerge, we learn he played a much bigger role in Gretchen Rossi’s life than she would like us to believe. Like others, was he too in search of…the almighty dollar? Many speculated he was using this opportunity for his 15 minutes…
After hearing what had been filmed at the reunion show, and the lies that were told, Jay sent the following e-mail to BRAVO. To the right is the response he received.

The following was taken from a response Jay Photoglou had left in the comments. I thought it was simply stated, yet says so much:

There is what I hope to be our last court date on 8-21 less than 2 weeks away. I am asking the Judge to reimburse me for the tens of thousands of dollars I have spent on attorney fees fighting these lies. I spent months putting a defense together. A defense to show that not only did I not commit the crimes against her but they were lies to protect an image that Bravo painted of her.

If I committed these crimes

1. Why have I never been arrested?

2. Once I read the Temporary Restraining order and saw a DR# issued by Costa Mesa police Dept. Why did I go and take a Polygraph test and invite Gretchen’s attys to be present? Even offering to let them ask me questions. View official results page 1, page 2

3. Even though as of April 2nd 2009 I had not been contacted by Costa Mesa Police Dept. Why did I walk in to file a Police report against Gretchen Rossi for filing a false police report? That’s right the first contact I had with Costa Mesa Police was when I walked in there. And the FIRST question the detective asked me was “Is this all just for publicity?” I was pissed. I actually started yelling at one point at the detective.

4. Why have I gone and given the Costa Mesa police dept EVERY interview and answered EVERY question they have asked?

5. Why did I have 4 Costa Mesa police officers and 1 civil officer subpoenaed to testify at the restraining order hearing? I had more police officers as witness’s than (They are considered non biased) friends.

6. Why was I listed as an emergency contact on Gretchen’s Home alarm as a resident? An alarm she had installed in Dec 2008. (This is a big part of the actual story, I am listed as a contacted person and in a police incident # as a responding person to an alarm call. This has never been told to press) The housekeeper had tripped the alarm.

I can go on and on, but there is a reason Gretchen KEPT asking for extensions in the Temporary restraining order case. Her Atty kept trying to make this go away. And all I wanted was a public apology.

I am living this right now even though the show has ended. This really has nothing to do with the show other than they knew what lies Gretchen was telling weeks before the Reunion show air’d.

Gretchen~ in all fairness, if you’re going to tell others what to do, you should hold yourself to the same standard.

As the truth continues to unfold, we see more evidence of the real relationship Gretchen Rossi shared with Jay Photoglou. Would we have ever even learned of “the arrangement” had Jay’s name not been mentioned on the reunion show? Could this have all played out in the media differently? This e-mail exchange between Jay Photoglou and Gretchen Rossi is quite interesting, as Gretchen is given yet another opportunity to…for lack of a better term, tell the truth. This exchange took place 10 days after the reunion show was filmed.

A few days ago we posted a document that was filed in court by Gretchen Rossi, “Jay timeline and document.”
In that, she gives states the date they met and the role Jay Photoglou played in her life.
“…a friend of mine that I confided in…it became very clear he wanted more…I became dependent on him for many things. Helping around the house…I agreed to do the show and Jay has ever since used it as a platform to defame me and hurt my name with.”

On October 7th, 3 weeks after Jeff Beitzel passed away and 1 day before Jay and Gretchen would get the infamous, now you see it, now you don’t tattoo’s, Gretchen sent Jay the following e-mail, a “List of Things to do….”

Hmmm….no comment.

Did Gretchen Rossi and Jay Photoglou have their names tattooed on each others ring fingers? Although Gretchen has claimed  she has always had a ring finger tattoo with Jeff Beitzel’s name, there was never a tattoo visible during the show. These pictures are interesting, to say the least!!

This picture was taken 10/17/2008, the date can be confirmed in the camera properties.

This was taken at a premier party I threw for Gretchen at i lounge in O.C. right after the Bravo party at Sutra that Bravo threw, it was taken on 11/25/2008.

This one was submitted by Gretchen to a reporter who was going to break the RING FINGER story. Gretchen stated she has always had a ring finger tattoo, but with Jeff’s name. The address in the background  was Slade’s address. Slade did not move in until Jan 2008, this picture is dated March 2007. *Interesting her nails are identical in both pictures…23 months apart.

With a newspaper date of February 2009, this picture was submitted to the same reporter, who pointed out to Gretchen there were pictures of her and I with her having NO RING finger tattoo.  Gretchen said she no longer had a tattoo. This is not true, she does still have a tattoo!

“I was in Bass lake for more than one day dispite what Gretchen has said on the Lost Footage episode. I rescinded my release in July/Aug. After I found out (Jan 31st 2009) that what was filmed on the reunion show. I called production and confirmed, that I rescinded my consent and that there were lies told on camera about me at that filming. I was told what lies were told, and by who, via text from Gretchen to me (I still have those texts, and phone records including the one from Gretchen’s parents that lasted over an hour as they hadn’t heard from her all day and were concerned. I filled them in as to what had happend on the taping). I was also asked by Gretchen if I was sure I rescinded my release with Evolution via text that same day.”

BRAVOD is airing the “Lost Footage” of O.C. Housewives episode TODAY @ 2:00 p.m. and is airing on BRAVO at 5:00 p.m. PST
Why does Gretchen tell Tamra that ‘You don’t know what Jeff and my relationship was?’ Does that mean it wasn’t what it appeared? Just saying…

As The Real Housewives of O.C. resumes filming for Season 5, one can’t help but wonder how BRAVO will “play out” the infamous scandal surrounding Jeff Beitzel, Gretchen Rossi and Jay Photoglou’s relationship. While the reunion show marked the end of Season 4, it was just the beginning of the controversy and allegations that would unfold in the months to come.

After being questioned about her relationship with Jeff and the alleged Jay Photoglou, Gretchen was quick to profess her love and dedication for Jeff, calling Jay an ex-boyfriend turned stalker. However, the pictures that began to surface and events that followed would tell that of a very different story.

For the first time, Jay Photoglou sits down for an exclusive interview with E! Entertainment. Jay takes this opportunity to discuss his relationship with Gretchen and the allegations she has made against him. I asked Jay if Gretchen would be taking part in “So True So False,” he told me “She was originally scheduled, but was pulled by BRAVO just days before the taping.” We can however, expect to hear from Jeff’s ex-wife. I am confidant we will also get an insight, among other things as to where the fine line was drawn between the “Reality” and “Show” for The Housewives of O.C.

So True So False Real Housewives Scandals is scheduled to air on E! Entertainment on Wednesday, August 5th. More details to follow, check back soon. You will not want to miss this.

The pictures below were all taken prior to Season 4 being filmed. The first one was 3 weeks before Gretchen was asked to be on the show. The last 3 were taken 1 week after being asked.

This document was filed in Court by Gretchen Rossi. On this paper you will see in Gretchen’s own words (under penalty of perjury) That we met for the first time Jan 8th 2008. Jeff was diagnosed in Dec 22nd 2007 as per Gretchen words on The Real Housewives of Orange County. On the reunion show Gretchen is heard stating that we dated before her and Jeff. This was a lie. Every picture that anybody has seen of us together has been in the last year and a half.
In the last paragraph of this document you will read that we fought about her doing this show. WE DID. It was because I heard Slade that night telling Jo “He’s Rich He’s Old He’s dying” She loved a man that loved her and she was taking care of him. I did not think this was a good idea but Gretchen was bent on being on television and convinced Jeff and I it was for the best…
This photo was taken on the day Jay met Slade and Jo for the first time and Slade asked Gretchen to be on the show. This picture was taken in March 2008 . (Jo and Slade are in the back in the picture)

We will continue to update more of what we can expect to hear on, So True So False Real Housewives Scandals… including a proposition Jay was approached with to quit talking…

UPDATE- After having the gag order against Jay denied, his attorney was contacted by Gretchen’s attorney with an offer to withdrawal charges against Jay, in exchange for his silence. Jay immediately responded, declining their offer.
It was after that he was approached with another offer, a big offer….

UPDATED August 4th at 6:15 p.m.
It’s interesting that a comment was recently posted stating Jay is “…trying to cash in on the whole thing.”
Lets move on as another bombshell unfolds:
Within a few weeks after declining the first offer, Jay was approached again “I was contacted by my attorney with an offer received from Gretchen’s attorney. They offered me hundreds of thousands of dollars and my own T.V. show if  all Criminal and Civil allegations were allowed to be withdrawn.” Jay declined the offer.
I have a feeling this is far from over!
