This is a comment Jay Photoglou made on Bravo Fan in direct response to Friday’s hearing.

“Today was still part of the Application for a restraining order. The judge took todays proceedings under submission and said he would let all parties know the outcome in about 2 weeks. He will be removing any portion that was not directly related to the restraining order. So of the 32 thousand I spent I expect 10 + thousand to be cut. With that it will leave the door open for me to pursue criminal action as well as civil. I have yet to decide what I will do if anything other than selling the rest of this story.”

He added the following correction,

“I just re read that and I have not decides what I will do including selling the story.”

It was a good day in court today. Jay will be reimbursed for legal fees paid out for his defense, the exact dollar amount to be determined in the next 2 weeks. Congratulations Jay!!!

Tomorrow is another day in court for Jay Photoglou, (you know the whole Season 4 is over but it was just the beginning of the controversy and allegations that would unfold in the months to come) as he recovers court costs accumulated in defense to the Temporary Restraining Order Gretchen filed against him. (You remember, the one that was dismissed with prejudice…and that Gretchen failed to show up to court for.)
Someone else will be in court tomorrow as well, a surprise witness that no one (other than Jay) is aware of, not even Jay’s attorney. Should this person be called to testify, we can expect their testimony to reveal some shocking, credibility cripling information!!

A picture is worth a thousand words…

This picture was taken in October 2008, in Newport Beach CA. It was a few days before Gretchen Rossi’s Birthday party. Gretchen was trying out costumes for Halloween to see people’s reactions to them. The day this picture was taken was the first time Gretchen had met Jim and Alexis Bellino. In this picture you can clearly see (as Alexis did) the ring finger tattoo “Gretchen”on Jay Photoglou’s finger. Alexis asked Gretchen why she was still wearing her engagement ring and about her ring finger tattoo “Jay” as well. Gretchen and Alexis sat for nearly 45 minutes while Gretchen explained her role on the show and answered Alexis’ questions. Gretchen told Alexis she was Jeff Beitzel’s caregiver.

TMZ just broke an exclusive story,
‘Real Housewife’ Gets Millions From Dead Fiance’

In this video obtained by TMZ, Gretchen Rossi goes on the record saying, “It’s not like he left me millions and millions of dollars, no.” In that episode, she went on to say he left her ‘enough to take care of herself for about a year.’

However…TMZ has obtained Jeff Beitzel’s trust which had been amended just a month prior, stating that Gretchen was awarded 2.5 million dollars.

Watching the clip, she appears less than appreciative, which leaves me wondering just how much a fiance caregiver rakes in a year! In my opinion a grieving fiance would have shown some class by avoiding the number game completely and simply leaving it at, ‘He was very good to me and made sure I was taken care of.’ Clearly, that was not the case here. Maybe she’ll get luckier next time (Slade?) O.K. next, next time.

It looks like Gretchen ended up taking the other wives advice to heart to protect herself. It’s reported $750.000 of that $2,500,000 was collected from Jeff Beitzel’s life insurance policy.

….million, millions….lie, lies…you say potato, I say patahto

June 15th, 2009 Gretchen writes in her blog,
“First of all let me state this very clearly, Tamra changes her story according to how it best suites her in that moment. I have honestly never met anyone so contradictory in my life (or someone that just plan [sic] lies to your face)”

In another blog she writes,
“No one will ever be able to truly understand or I will never be able to explain in right detail the last six months of my life. The pain, the tears, the hopelessness, the regret, the sorrow, the sleepless nights, the dreams, being angry at God, or the sad void in my soul.”
Let’s talk about contradiction… 

The following pictures were taken in the five months following Jeff’s death. I will never dispute the fact that Gretchen loved and cared about Jeff, these pictures however seem to contradict much of what she has written in her blog.

The dates on these pictures have been verified through their properties.

• January 8th 2008- Jay Photoglou and Gretchen Rossi began dating
• May 2008- The Real Housewives of Orange County begin filming Season 4
• September 2008- Filming of Season 4 ends
• September 13th 2008- Jeff Beitzel passed away
• October 8th 2008- Jay and Gretchen had each others names tattooed on each others ring fingers (less than 1 month later)
• November 25th 2008- Episode 1 of Season 4 airs (shown in 4th picture, Jay first met Jo and Slade in March of 2008, when her and Slade took the idea of Gretchen joining the show to Evolution, the producers of O.C. Housewives. They were aware of Jay and Gretchen’s relationship)
• December 2008- Jay was seen moving into Gretchen’s house
• January 31st 2009- The Real Housewives of Orange County Reunion Show was filmed (the last picture above was taken 1 week later)
• February 9th 2009- Gretchen and Jay’s relationship ended
• February 18th 2009- As Jay tries to recover personal items from Gretchen’s Costa Mesa home accompanied by Police, Slade Smiley’s wallet, jacket, shoes, shirt and keys are seen (although footsteps upstairs were heard at the time, a dispatcher received a call from Slade saying he was with Gretchen and they were in Las Vegas.)
• February 24th 2009- The Reunion Show airs

Again, we find more contradiction in the relationship when we read  Gretchen’s timeline that was submitted as a document, verses the To do list that she apparently e-mailed to Jay in October 2008.

Reading bottom to top, this e-mail exchange is between Gretchen Rossi, Jay Photoglou and a private publicist that they had obtained for Gretchen. It’s dated November 15th 2008, which was 10 days prior to the airing of Season 4. Although I can’t confirm it was actually sent, Gretchen seems to have concerns for the way her character is being portrayed in Bravo’s releases, she also makes reference to what “…was going to take place in the telling of their story.”

Story? Story!

Remember the saying, “Don’t let the truth get in the way of a good story?” Some people will go through great lengths to do just that. People become inanimate objects falling prey to what boils down to be, the almighty dollar.
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, while the reunion show marked the end of Season 4, the real drama is far from over.
Our little hearts broke when we learned the sassy blond with the infectious smile may have pulled a fast one on us. Who is Jay Photoglou? As pictures and information begin to emerge, we learn he played a much bigger role in Gretchen Rossi’s life than she would like us to believe. Like others, was he too in search of…the almighty dollar? Many speculated he was using this opportunity for his 15 minutes…
After hearing what had been filmed at the reunion show, and the lies that were told, Jay sent the following e-mail to BRAVO. To the right is the response he received.

Below is Evolution’s media request for a media pass to video the “Forward-Rossi/Photoglou trial.” It was denied. It’s interesting a copy of the Notice of Ruling was sent to both Evolution and Gretchen Rossi….

The following was taken from a response Jay Photoglou had left in the comments. I thought it was simply stated, yet says so much:

There is what I hope to be our last court date on 8-21 less than 2 weeks away. I am asking the Judge to reimburse me for the tens of thousands of dollars I have spent on attorney fees fighting these lies. I spent months putting a defense together. A defense to show that not only did I not commit the crimes against her but they were lies to protect an image that Bravo painted of her.

If I committed these crimes

1. Why have I never been arrested?

2. Once I read the Temporary Restraining order and saw a DR# issued by Costa Mesa police Dept. Why did I go and take a Polygraph test and invite Gretchen’s attys to be present? Even offering to let them ask me questions. View official results page 1, page 2

3. Even though as of April 2nd 2009 I had not been contacted by Costa Mesa Police Dept. Why did I walk in to file a Police report against Gretchen Rossi for filing a false police report? That’s right the first contact I had with Costa Mesa Police was when I walked in there. And the FIRST question the detective asked me was “Is this all just for publicity?” I was pissed. I actually started yelling at one point at the detective.

4. Why have I gone and given the Costa Mesa police dept EVERY interview and answered EVERY question they have asked?

5. Why did I have 4 Costa Mesa police officers and 1 civil officer subpoenaed to testify at the restraining order hearing? I had more police officers as witness’s than (They are considered non biased) friends.

6. Why was I listed as an emergency contact on Gretchen’s Home alarm as a resident? An alarm she had installed in Dec 2008. (This is a big part of the actual story, I am listed as a contacted person and in a police incident # as a responding person to an alarm call. This has never been told to press) The housekeeper had tripped the alarm.

I can go on and on, but there is a reason Gretchen KEPT asking for extensions in the Temporary restraining order case. Her Atty kept trying to make this go away. And all I wanted was a public apology.

I am living this right now even though the show has ended. This really has nothing to do with the show other than they knew what lies Gretchen was telling weeks before the Reunion show air’d.

Gretchen~ in all fairness, if you’re going to tell others what to do, you should hold yourself to the same standard.
